Pet Rescue By Judy
With an exceeding rate of animal abuse existing in the world, the greater area of Orlando is thankful for Pet Rescue by Judy. Pet Rescue By Judy is a no-kill animal rescue that specializes in pairing animals with the perfect adopters. They take great responisbility in caring for their animals.I’m no stranger to this animal rescue, as I have attended a few of their free puppy yoga classes and other pet rescue events. Catching their vibe, seeing that they are firm, honest, and hardworking, a branding identity has been formed to capture the nature of this animal rescue.

Process
The thought process behind this logo is to shine the light on that feeling of finding the one. No, not your significant other, but your soulmate.
That’s right, your pet. Using similarities in shape as a background of the logo and a significant shape in front illustrates an individualism of the pet.
Each circle is used to represent the background, similar to peripheral vision when we can visually see the background but it is not the focus. Both cat and dog, to show inclusivity of all animals, are shown as the focal point, allowing the eye to view the animals first. This is done to illustrate that feeling of “finding the one.” Welcoming is the goal, thus choosing a bubbly typeface that still expresses importance by being in all caps. Adding a scruffy texture to our animal rescue logo symbolizes the resilience of the animals.

The Answer:
The Pet Rescue offers an online quiz for adopters to take, fill in their needs, lifestyle, etc. and get paired with an animal that is available for adoption.
