Boarding Pass Improvement
One of my favorite parts about being in design is designing for function. For some reason, it itches a part of my brain. As I did a lil bit of post-grad traveling I couldn’t help but always get annoyed with my boarding pass. Sometimes it was because it kept getting crinkled as I’d run to catch my connecting flight, or because I unconciously shove it in my pockets. Either way, I looked down at it and thought: “mm yeah I’m gonna redesign this.”Functional Design

Sticking Out
Okay so, I am clumsy. And also while I’m a craftswoman, I can sometimes be careless. So with something like this, a boarding pass sticking out, I will crinkle it, drop it, shove it into my jacket. Also as someone slightly anxious, I will constantly look at it, put it away rapidly, and then look at it again.
Also though, I have the mind of a designer. (wow). So, that means I would look at this and be like, “hmm I wish the ratio size was smaller... like I wish it fit to the size of my passport,” “hmm I wish I could look at the info without constantly pulling it out,” to ultimately thinking “you know what, I could easily redesign this.”
