Previously, a system: the Well Being Pillars, was instilled to act as a driving force to have internal staff utilize their facilities to promote well being.
The Issue:
Unfortunately, the Well Being Pillars were unsuccessful and were underlooked by both students and staff.
Thus, BEAM was born. My priority was to develop a solid logo system that is expandable upon the words: Belonging, Engaging, Achieving, and Meaning, making the acronym BEAM.

Logo Sketches
The concept for the logo is to have one unifying, identifiable star shape. The surrounding elements would then communicate the meaning of each symbol. The star shape was chosen to reflect the radious joy that light brings, however it also reflects the clients internal honor code of following the “North Star,” which holds a similar star compass shape.
